Kinda sick so my voice is weird - also realised I say basically way too much >.>
Anyway this one's about creating a controller to make the bolts flicker on and off over time, all procedural!
Next time I will be making a Lightning Solver to make the bolts animate over their lifetime, to create some even more interesting/realistic animation.

Just playing around to replicate the effect Method Studios used in the AICP reel. Setting it up with bullet worked like crap, this grain setup works better, but I'm moving onto FLIP now and I suspect that'll work even better, smoother at least.

I'm new to Unreal and this was a little learning exercise. The ol' obligatory sci fi corridor everyone seems to build when learning UE4 ;) Low poly modular bits built in Maya, textured using Illustrator/Quixel, and everything else done in UE4. Enjoy!

Funny thing, it's actually a follow up to my ground crack thingie, because I was experimenting with using POPs to create crack patterns when I got the idea to feed a point with a sine on top into copy SOP to create a crawly trail. :D
